
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has praised the supportive stand of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which stems from a long and shared history of joint cooperation and common destiny.
He cited the pivotal role played by the U.A.E. in safeguarding the regional and international security given its balanced policies.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Bahrain's PM made the remarks, while receiving the outgoing U.A.E. Ambassador to Bahrain, Mohammed Sultan Al Suwaidi. He commended the constructive U.A.E. development policies outlined by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and being followed up by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
HRH Prince Khalifa hailed the historic and distinguished fraternal ties between the two countries, adding that they demonstrate common history between the two states. He referred to the growing cooperation ties between the two countries, leaders and peoples of the U.A.E. and Bahrain.
He commended the urban growth being experienced by the U.A.E. led by its wise leadership, stressing keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen the existing ties to meet aspirations of the two peoples.
HRH Prince Khalifa said the relations between the two countries are prosperous, especially in the areas of economy, trade, investment, and coordination in a number of the GCC, Arab and international issues.
He praised the efforts of the U.A.E. outgoing envoy in boosting the cooperation ties between the U.A.E. and Bahrain during his tenure in the Kingdom, wishing him more successes in future tasks.
For his part, the U.A.E. outgoing Ambassador thanked the Bahrain's PM and the Kingdom for their significant support during his tenure in the Kingdom, wishing more prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain led by its wise monarchy, and progress to its people.
