Minister of Public Enterprise Sector Ashraf El Sharkawy met Thursday with a Ukrainian economic delegation led by State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Oleksiy Perevezentsev to discuss ways to promote cooperation between Cairo and Kiev.
Ukrainian Ambassador in Cairo Hennadii Latii and the former minister of economy, and the deputy head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission to Egypt also attended the meeting.
Sharkawy stressed the importance of encouraging cooperation and coordination between the two ministries in all fields, demonstrating the projects carried out by Egyptian state enterprises.
On is part, the Ukrainian delegation shared its professional expertise to assist the ministry of public enterprise sector in its plan to develop its enterprises, expressing its interest in cooperating with Egypt.
The delegation also expressed its interest in investment opportunities in Egypt in the various fields .
