Michetti said her meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi dealt with ways to boost cooperation.
Agro-food industries, exchange of scientific and technological expertise, activation of tourism and education issues were also discussed, she added.
Michetti said Egypt has an important opportunity to act as a trade intermediary between the African countries and Argentina through the Mercosur agreement.
She added that her country always works in international forums to counter terrorism and support internal security and the means of public security that limit this phenomenon.
On the Palestinian cause and the Middle East issues, Michetti said that Argentina respects the resolutions of the United Nations on this regard, alongside supporting all initiatives aimed at bringing peace.
