A Yemeni policeman was killed on Wednesday morning in a ride-by shooting in Sanaa by two unknown gunmen, a security source told Arabstoday. The source said that the slain policeman, Mohammed Hassan al-Fil was a delegated officer from the Central Security Forces to the ministry of municipal administration.Eyewitnesses said that the incident took place in al-Hasba neighbourhood near the headquarters of the ministry of municipal administration. According to official reports, 65 Yemeni officers from the army, intelligence and security apparatus were assassinated by unknown gunmen -believed to belong to al-Qaeda- since the beginning of the year.
