Algeria warns on smuggled arms from Libya

The Algerian government has warned Tunisia against a planned massive arms smuggling operation being prepared in Libya into the two countries. The warning came after a number of prisoners have escaped from a Libyan prison as well as the recent armed clashes between two tries near the Libyan borders with Algeria and Tunisia, according to local Algerian media. The Algerian People's National Army (ANP) has earlier deployed more forces at the southern borders with Tunisia to prevent terrorism groups from infiltrating the country. Source: MENA
