Al-Nusra Front destroys Shiite shrine in Syria

Syria armed rebel group al-Nusra Front has destroyed a Shiite shrine in eastern Syrian governorate of Deir Ezzor. According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a video shows fighters loyal to the al-Qaeda affiliated movement attacking the shrine. SOHR added that the extremist group has killed about 60 Shiite supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime since the conflict began.
