
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi headed to Germany in a one-day visit to attend Munich Conference for Security to discuss the international cooperation against terrorism.
According to a statement, the Iraqi official is scheduled to meet with international leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, NATO Director General, Director General of League of Arab of States, Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council and ministers of foreign affairs of a number of countries.
Abadi will deliver a speech before the conference to discuss the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces to liberate the areas controlled by extremist ISIS group. The Iraqi official will call the international community for providing more support for the country to counter the extremist attacks.
