
Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority Rashida Abdel Fattah has ordered the suspension of nine civil servants for three months with allowing them to receive half of their salaries, over the investigations conducted by the authority over Alexandria train collision.
The suspects included the two drivers of the collided trains and other senior officials in the Egyptian National Railways.
Abdel Fattah also ordered forming an advisory committee to consider the technical reports on the deficiencies in administrative, financial and technical systems which resulted in such incidents.
