9 firefighters injured while putting out blaze at Edfu Market

At least nine civil defense troops have been injured while putting out a fire that erupted at some stores at Edfu Market in Aswan earlier Wednesday.
The flames also extended to a number of residential buildings.
The injured firefighters were moved to Edfu General Hospital, said the undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Aswan in statements to MENA.
They suffered smoke inhalation as they attempted to extinguish the blaze, the official noted.
