
An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 67km WNW of Namatanai, Papua New Guinea at 17:12:09 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 366.37 km, was initially determined to be at 3.5234 degrees south latitude and 151.8394 degrees east longitude.
