At least two NATO service members were killed following roadside improvised explosive devices explosions in southern and eastern Afghanistan on Thursday. NATO-led International Security Assistance Force on Thursday announced "One International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan today." In a separate statement ISAF announced that another International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan. The statement did not disclose further information regarding the exact locations of the incidents and nationalities of the deceased soldiers. Troops mainly from United States and United Kingdom are based in eastern and southern regions of Afghanistan.
