16 al-Qaeda dead in south Yemen

Sixteen al-Qaeda members including three Somalis, were killed in a bombardment targeting the organisation in Lauder city in south Yemen which the armed extremists failed to control, according to the Ministry of Defence website on Monday.   who claimed that members of the al-Qaeda terrorist organisation were killed on Sunday at their base " in the  electricity triangle area,south east of Lauder" the website claimed. The site added that the popular committee members – civilians supported by the army – together with army forces were able to attack the "terrorist elements" which drove them to retreat.
