11 killed in attack targeting Iraq mosque

Eleven people were killed in a suicide attack targeting Ali El-Bash Mosque on Friday in North Baghdad. Thirty four others were injured in the attack. A source in Iraq's interior ministry told Arab Today that a suicide bomber blew himself amid Friday prayers using an explosive belt. The source added on condition of anonymity that ambulances transferred the injured people to hospital to be treated for their injuries. The bodies of the dead have been transferred to forensic. Armed forces have now imposed a security cordon to prevent any potential repercussions.
