One person was reportedly killed and five injured in armed clashes between Hezbollah members and Palestinians in southern Beirut on Sunday. Official news agency said clashes began at one of the entrances of Burj Al-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp between a Lebanese group and Palestinians who refused to allow the former inspect cars of a wedding. Security forces and Palestinian factions from inside the camp intervened to stop clashes, it said. Local media outlets said the clashes took place between Hezbollah elements and the Palestinians. They said the fatality was a Palestinian, and that the incident triggered outrage within the camp. Hezbollah set up check points in southern Beirut following the August 17 explosion which killed at least 25 people and injured many others. Source: KUNA
