Syrian actor Jihad Saad resumes filming his role in new TV drama show “Not to Extinguish the Sun” scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan, saying that he also participates in another dramatic work entitled “Baron”. He expressed his pleasure for participating with Actor Amr Abdel Jalil, saying that he is one of the major actors in the Arab world during the current period.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, he is happy for participating in the new series “Not to extinguish the Sun”, praising his cooperation with Director Mohamed Shaker Khodeir and author Tamer Habib. He revealed that he apologized for not participating with them in “Grand Hotel” TV drama Show last year for his personal conditions.
The Syrian arist expressed his keenness to diversify his works and not to repeat the role he previously performed. He stressed the need that any actor should aspire to diversification to meet the aspirations of his fans.
He praised the experience of Syrian artists in Egypt, stressing the need for openness between the Arab countries during the coming period in the artistic career. He expressed the appreciation to the role performed by Egypt to support the talented artists from all over the Arab world. He added that he received a number of offers to participate in cinema, saying that he currently considers it scenario to give the final decision.
He added that he refused a number of other offers, saying that they were not suitable. He expressed his appreciation to Syrian actress Mona Wassef, saying that she participated in a large number of major works in the Syrian history of drama and theatre. He also praised the role performed by high-profile actor Dareed Laham in Syria’s artistic career, describing him as unrepeated phenomenon.
