World Cancer Day observed in Nepal

World Cancer Day is being observed in the Nepali capital Kathmandu with various programs to increase awareness about the deadly disease on Saturday. The slogan for the World Cancer Day this year is 'Together it is possible'. Several hospitals and organizations involved in cancer control and research in the capital have joined hands to create awareness amongst the people in Nepal. According to the statistics, in every six seconds, one patient loses his life to cancer. Likewise in Nepal, there are 60,000 patients of cancer in addition every year.
