Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will take a rest for a few days at home as he caught cold. Erdogan underwent a medical check-up at Ataturk Training & Research Hospital in Turkish capital Ankara on Tuesday. He told reporters that he would continue his program at the weekend. I have a fatigue due to influenza, said Erdogan, adding that he postponed his programs as well as Tuesday's Justice & Development (AK) Party group meeting. "Thank God now I'm feeling better, and I'm getting well but I'm going to rest at home for a few days," said Erdogan. When reporters asked whether his visit at the hospital was related with his previous illness, Erdogan replied his current condition was not related with it. On February 11, 2012, Erdogan underwent the second and last phase of a digestion system surgery, the first of which was made on November 26, 2011. Erdogan underwent a laparoscopic surgery in his digestive system on November 26, 2011, and was discharged from hospital on November 29.
