Stolen Farwaniyah hospital ambulance found

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Minister of Health Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah announced Wednesday that the stolen ambulance from the Farwaniya Hospital has been found in Ardiya residential area today. Speaking to KUNA, the Minister said that the ambulance has been spotted by the intelligence personnel of the Interior Ministry in Ardiya residential area. The minister said that the ambulance was stolen at 12 noon today as the the ambulance crew were preoccupied rushing a patient to the hospital. He added that the thief got in the ambulance that carried the number 94 and fled the scene. He added that the emergency medical operations room, in full coordination with the Interior Ministry's intelligence department, dealt with the situation promptly. He explained that the Ministry's ambulances are equipped with the latest technological systems, a matter that makes it easier for policemen to spot the vehicle's movement wherever it is.
