Separation surgery of Saudi twins Rana and Reem on Thursday

Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah announced today that the separation operation of the Saudi conjoined twins "Rana and Reem" will take place at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) in Riyadh on Thursday. He added that the operation will be carried out in accordance with directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Dr. Al Rabiah said the operation is expected to take 13 hours spread over 11 stages.
