Separation Surgery of Saudi Twins "Rana and Reem" Started at KAMC

In implementation of directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the separation surgery of the Saudi conjoined twins "Rana and Reem" was kicked off at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) in Riyadh this morning. Carried out by the Saudi Specialist Medical Team of Surgery headed by the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, the operation is expected to take 13 hours spread over 11 stages.
