Seoul citizens enjoy longest illness-free life expectancy

Residents of Seoul enjoy the longest illness-free life expectancy among South Koreans, due partly to a higher number of medical facilities, a local think tank said Tuesday. The average health-adjusted life expectancy for a citizen of the capital city was 73.89 years, the highest among 16 municipal and provincial regions surveyed, the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA) said.
