
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) Dr. Mohammed Rafea has said that the second GCC Medical Management Forum, to be kick-start next Tuesday under the patronage of Minister of State for Defence Affairs and Supreme Health Council President Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, aims to raise awareness on the issue of medical blunders and cope with international professional, administrative and legal developments in this regard.
He added that the forum would provide a venue for Bahraini doctors to build bridges of communication with regional and international counterparts.
Workshops on the sidelines of the event will address topics like safe medical practices, work pressure management, time management and teamwork.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss contentious legal issues, BMS chairman Dr Mohammed Abdulla Rafea said.
