
The cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) coronavirus increased Tuesday to 421 cases in Saudi Arabia with the registration of 7 new cases. The Health Ministry said that the death cases remain the same of 115, with no fatality in the last 24 hours. The first case in the world was diagnosed in Saudi Arabia in 2012 and the country has the majority of the cases worldwide. Of total new cases, four in Riyadh, two in Jeddah and one in Medina. Three are receiving healthcare at the ICU, two in stable condition and two without symptoms. Saudi Arabia announces new cases on a daily basis with the reduction of death rate from 60 percent to 32 percent, while it is working to reduce the percentage through limiting the infection.
