Saudi Arabia announces new MERS coronavirus patient

The Saudi health Ministry said Tuesday a citizen has been infected with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) coronavirus in Al-Kharj, southern Riyadh, over the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement the citizen, who was not named, was infected with the virus due to his close contact with camels.
Today's announcement brings to 763 the number of people infected with coronavirus since its outbreak in 2012, of them 324 people died.
