The State Anti-Drug Committee of the Russian Federation plans to endorse by the weekend the draft national program for drug addicts rehabilitation, Viktor Ivanov, head of the Federal Drug Control Service and chairman of the State Anti-Drug Committee, told reporters on Monday. He said the program would cope with rehabilitation and re-socialization of drug addicts and promote decriminalization of society. “We are about to adopt the program. Its drafting is almost over. The committee meeting is due on June 28, and we will adopt it then,” Ivanov said. He noted that the draft had been coordinated with practically every agency - with the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Sports.
