Number of Azhar's food poisoning cases rises to 583

The number of food poisoning cases among Azhar university students rose to 583, the Health Ministry announced Tuesday. A ministry statement on Tuesday said that most of the cases were released from hospitals and only 85 cases are still under observations. The statement added that all the cases are stable and that they suffered moderate poisoning symptoms Samples of the allegedly poisoned food showed indications of a microbe infection that may have been behind the poisoning symptoms, it added.
