
The Jordanian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that a male nurse, working at a private hospital, tested positive for the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS or coronavirus). The man, in his 50s, was in contact with a MERS patient; he suffered respiratory problems on Thursday and was diagnosed as the ninth case with the virus today, said director of the Ministry's communicable diseases dept.
