NHS Highland closes fourth ward

NHS Highland has closed a fourth hospital ward in its effort to deal with cases of the winter vomiting bug. Forty-two patients and 24 staff have been affected at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Ward 6C was closed to admissions on Thursday. Wards 2A and 7C were shut last week. Rosebank Ward at Wick's Caithness General, where six patients and seven staff have fallen ill, was also closed to admissions last week.
