A batch of medicines and medical equipment will be sent to the Gaza Strip next week in solidarity with the population of the Palestinian territory following the Israeli despicable aggression, announced Wednesday the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA).
"We are in permanent contact with the Palestinian Embassy in Algeria to identify the needs of the Gazans," the head of CRA, Saida Benhabiles told APS.
This operation, which is part of the solidarity actions of the Algerian people with the population of the Gaza Strip, has been initiated by the CRA in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she added.
The batch of medical equipment and medicines will be airlifted to El-Ismailia Airport in Egypt, where they will be handed over by the Algerian Ambassador to Cairo to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
