National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim said on Sunday that he has officially received the motion to grill State Minister for Cabinet Affairs and Health Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah in his capacity, saying the grilling would be discussed on November 12. Al-Ghanim told reporters today that MPs have the right to use their constitutional tools including interpellations, stressing that the use of this right does not disrupt MPs' work, parliamentary committees nor the priorities team who are looking to achieve the aspirations of the citizens through hard work. He explained that the order of priorities of the authorities team headed by MP Ali Al-Omair is progressing as scheduled, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by the team. He said he hopes the team would be able to complete its task before the upcoming session. He added that a timetable for the priorities would be setup which would be distributed over regular private parliamentary sessions where some laws and urgent issues would be tackled.
