
The Kuwait international conference on health, safety and environment 2015 will discuss the relation between the environment and sustainable development, said an official at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The conference is set to kick off from February 16 to 17, under the theme "we can change our environment", KPC environmental advisor Dr. Fatmah Al-Shatti told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday.
The conference, to be patronized by Minister of Oil and Minister of State for Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair, will address policies and strategies of safety, health and environment, she noted.
Meanwhile, the advisor noted that a number of international and local experts will discuss topics on safety in the oil field, medical facilities and industrial safety.
The event will include over 70 directors, experts, consultants and academics in different fields, about 30 experts presenting their research papers and some 500 businessmen and decision makers, said Al-Shatti.
