
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is anticipating charity gestures during the holy month of Ramadan from individuals and companies to help underprivileged families inside the country, chief of KRCS said Saturday.
Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer told KUNA that "food parcel" project, organized by both KRCS and Nestle, Kuwait General Trading Company, aims at providing needy families with food necessities during the whole month of Ramadan.
He lauded Nestle Kuwait for its endeavors in this noble cause and expressed aspirations to create similar partnerships with other companies from the private sector.
He added that engaging in charity activities enhances the spirit of social solidarity.
