Jordani health ministry receives JICA award

The Health Ministry on Monday received Award for the "Integrating Health and Empowerment of Women in the South Region Project, which is one of four best projects in the world implemented by JICA around the world. The projects has been implemented on three phases starting from 1997 as a first phase and 2002 as a second phase and 2006 till 2013 as a thirds phase. In remarks during a ceremony organized by JICA in Amman, Heath Minister Abdul Latif Wreikat voiced pride for receiving the award and for honoring the health ministry and its staff for their efforts to ensure the success of the project.
