
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has donated AED1.966 million to the Assistance Fund at the Dubai Authority to help needy patients and breast cancer patients. Salim bin Lahej, Head of the Mosaadah (assistance) programme at the DHA, said that the donation comes within the community partnership agreement signed by the Authority with the department to promote the humanitarian role of the Fund to serve needy patients in the hospitals of the Authority. Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of Charity Organisations at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai said that this donation comes within the framework of cooperation and humanitarian support provided by the department to emphasise the values of the U.A.E. as established in caring for humans as a key element in development at all levels. He also reviewed the efforts made by the department to support humanitarian conditions and provide necessary assistance to them in cooperation with the concerned authorities. Mr. bin Lahej commended the efforts made by the Mosaadah Fund at the authority to deliver assistance to needy patients.
