Tehran - FNA

Iranian Health Minister of Iran Marziyeh Vahid-Dastjerdi said Thursday that her visit to China was successful as many ways opened for mutual medical and scientific cooperation. The minister told the Islamic republic news agency that officials of the two states exchanged views on promotion of medical and health systems of the two countries. Discussions were held between Iranian and Chinese officials on strengthening traditional medicines through bilateral cooperation, said the minister at the end of her five-day visit to China. She added that production of medical herbs and using acupuncture methods were also among major topics discussed by Iranian and Chinese officials.
