
Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Prince Faisal bin al-Hussein, on Tuesday, opened the 7th International Conference of the Royal Medical Services and the 4th International Congress on Military Medicine of the Pan Arab Regional Working Group.
The 3-day gathering is held in collaboration with the Arab Group of Military Medicine, the British Royal College of Surgery, the Royal College of Internal Medicine, the National Arab American Medical Association, Thomas Jefferson University and Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar.
Director-General of the Medical Royal Services, Gen. Khalaf al-Jader Al-Sarhan said the conference is attended by more than 4,000 participants conferring various medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing and other medical issues. It also attracts 400 researchers from around the world providing scientific papers and doing research in their respective fields.
The event will see 37 workshop and 12 medical specialized symposia held.
