Health Minister Sadiq Al-Shehabi paid an inspection visit today to the Bahrain International Circuit Medical Team, where he was received by BIC Medical Team Chief Dr. Amjad Obaid. The minister first toured the BIC permanent medical center, which has being operated and supplied with medical equipment by Ministry of Health over the past eight years. The minister also visited the medical teams surrounding the racing circuit to make sure of their readiness for the event, as well as the meeting of the International Medical Committee’s permanent members. Mr. Al Shehabi reviewed the medical team’s practical trainings of dealing with incidents and evacuating injured people. At the end of the visit the minister of health expressed his appreciation to the Bahraini medical team, calling them to exert all needed efforts to keep the good reputation of the Bahraini medical team.
