
The first Gulf Cooperation Council conference to discuss evidence-based professional development of workers in the health sector in the GCC countries was concluded here yesterday evening.
The conference, which was hosted by Kuwait over the past two days, called for continuity of promoting of the concept of development of professional work of the workers in the health sector in the GCC countries for the duration of their stay in their jobs.
The conference also called for addressing the difficulties faced by the workers and for contributing to their development.
This came in a draft document which was announced after the conclusion of the conference yesterday evening in Kuwait. The draft document, a copy of which was obtained by Saudi Press Agency, SPA, will be submitted in the coming weeks to the ministers of health in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council for approval.
