
The fifth Digestive Endoscopy symposium has kicked off here on Saturday to discuss latest research on this field with the participation of local and international physicians, experts, and consultants.
The two-day event is organized by the New Mowasat Hospital under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health, World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) and European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).
Chairman of the New Mowasat Hospital Dr. Mahmoud Omar said in his opening speech that the symposium will focus on the recent advances of digestive endoscopy and its utility in the management of related gastrointestinal diseases. It will also include both lectures and interactive video case presentations.
In addition, the event will provide an excellent opportunity for discussion and interaction between participants and outstanding experts, he added.
