
The Health Ministry has completed 85% of medical preparations at the Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital for the economic conference that will take place in the Red Sea resort city in mid-March.
As Egypt holds this important economic gathering, preparations have to be top-notch, Health Minister Adel el Adawy said while touring the city with South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda and Health Ministry undersecretary Mohamed Fathallah on Monday.
Preparations at hospitals in South Sinai, including Sharm El Sheikh, have been stepped up to receive any emergency cases during the conference, he said.
Five ambulances will be deployed outside the conference hall in addition to two ambulances in every hosting hotel, he said, adding that two ambulance choppers will be put on stand-by at Sharm El Sheikh airport.
