Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab toured Sunday El Demerdash Hospital to stand on the health services offered to the citizens during Eidul-Adha (Greater Bairam) holiday.
During touring the various hospital's departments, Mahlab met with a number of patients and their families and issued directives to meet a number of demands.
Mahlab, meanwhile, took immediate decisions while touring the hospital, including approving to treat poor patients at the state expense.
He also made a phone call with the head of the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) to investigate complaints made by a number of doctors regarding that the disinfectants and detergents are not in line with international standards.
Mahlab also decided to hold a meeting next week to start developing the hospital.
