Dr Mahathir Mohamad discharged from hospital

The former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad (88) was discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN) on Monday after being admitted on November 16 for chest infection. Mahathir, who was responding well to treatment, left the General Ward of IJN this morning but he will however be required to continue with his exercise programme and physiotherapy, “Bernama” news agency reported.
