Dr Bader al-Otaibi: Suspected swine flu case negative

Tests have proven negative for a previously suspected case of swine flu (H1N1) in Kuwait, according to the head of Adan Hospital on Thursday.
The patient, a 48-year-old, was found free of the deadly disease after the tests, considered routine procedure, for those who show seasonal flu-like symptoms, Dr. Bader Al-Otaibi said in a statement.
The Ministry of Health in these situations is taking extreme precautionary measures as a result of the current trend of the global spread of deadly contagious viruses.
