Doha will host next Monday, Oct.8 , the 8th forum on health , safety and environment in the energy sector . An exhibition for those companies working on the field will be staged on the sidelines of the three-day function in which around 350 figures working in the oil and gas sector from around the world will attend along with other governmental authorites and organisational and consultative parties. The forum, co-organised by Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Fleming Gulf , will discuss a variety of topics related to standards of health, safety and environment in the energy sector and the ruling related laws. The participants will also consider a set of solutions and studies of cases of the protection programme during the execution phase of the projects and how to best enhance the performance of these programmes. A number of workshops will be held on the sidelines of the said forum to introduce the experiences of some companies as regard the health and safety standards and environment.
