Doha will host on Wednesday the launch of a GCC campaign to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) as well as the launch of the GCC health library website. The ceremony will take place at the Millennium Hotel under the patronage of HE Abdullah bin Khalid Al-Qahtani, Minister of Public Health and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health, in the presence of Director-General of Executive Board of Health Ministers Council for GCC States Dr Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja and members of GCC health information awareness committee. Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health for Medical Affairs Dr Saleh bin Ali Al-Marri will launch the campaign and present the goals and vision of the executive office with regard to GCC electronic archiving.
