BiH entity takes measures against Ebola

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) on Saturday launched a warning system against spread of Ebola virus.
Under the system, the Border Police could conduct screening of some travelers for possible exposure and infection while emergency medical team stood ready for urgent blood sampling and other measures.
There will be a separate room for the treatment of potentially infected people at the Clinical Center of University of Sarajevo. Procedures were published to deal with travelers from countries affected by Ebola, including medical supervision by medical teams.
There are no reports of Ebola cases in BiH.
The virus has claimed nearly 1,000 lives in West Africa, most of whom were in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
The World Health Organization on Friday warned that the disease was now a "public health emergency of international concern" and called for a coordinated international response to stop and reverse the international spread of Ebola.
