Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa presided over a meeting at the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) in the presence of the Minister of Health Dr. Sadiq bin Abdul-Kareem Al-Shihabi and discussed latest developments in application of the National Health Database (I-Seha) Software in the hospital, as part of constant follow up of provision of optimum health services and medical treatment. Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa was briefed by the representative of Indra Corporation which is the contractor assigned the task of implementing the National Database (I-Seha) regading latest technologies and improved prompt, high-quality and advanced medical services to patients in accordance with international standards and practices for citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The nationwide database will link all hospitals and health centers in the Kingdom. The Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa concluded the meeting by praising the efforts exerted in improving the quality of health services in the Kingdom which contribute in the provision of high-quality, efficient health services harnessing latest, hi-tech IT systems in health specializations. The meeting was attended by Ministry of Health's Undersecretary, Dr. Ayesha Bu Unq, the commander of the KHUH hospital Major-General Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Atiyatallah Al Khalifa, the commander of the Royal Medical Services Major-General Professor Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, as well as administrative and technical staffs of the KHUH.
