
Health Minister Sadiq bin Abdul Kareem Al-Shehabi met here today the Chairman and members of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) and discussed with them areas of cooperation in holding conferences and scientific forums.
The Minister lauded BMS’ constant cooperation with the Ministry of Health for the aim of upgrading medical cadres in the kingdom and providing the best services for patients.
He highlighted the Second GCC Medical Management Forum, patronised by the President of the Supreme Council for Health Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and organised by BMS from September 16th to 18th, 2014.
Dr. Al-Shehabi affirmed the Health Ministry’s readiness to ensure the success of the three-day event, expected to focus on medical blunders.
He also discussed with BMS the entry of its volunteers to the Gaza Strip to offer medical services for the wounded, pledging to communicate with the relevant sides to ensure easy procedures.
