
Health Minister Sadiq bin Abdul-Kareem Al-Shehabi has received a delegation from the World Bank headed by the Programme Manager at World Bank Jamal Al-Kibbi and Expert t the World Bank Benoit Blarel to explore joint projects.
The Minister lauded the fruitful bilateral cooperation, expressing hope to further advance it.
They reviewed the work development in the health insurance programme held under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Health as well as the potential benefit from the studies conducted by the World Bank in the health sector and implementing them in Bahrain.
They discussed ways of exchanging expertise and applying them in health field.
Al-Shehabi praised the World Bank’s efforts in the health sector and the constant cooperation.
Consultant Training and Planning at Ministry of Health Zahra Bader was present.
