Health Minister Sadaq Abdul Karim Al-Shehabi left today for Cairo to take part in the 39th Arab Health Ministers Council meeting, which is set to be held at the Arab League Secretariat General headquarters on March 13 and 14. Discussions will focus key health issues, including mainly the health conditions of the Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries as well as the humanitarian and health situation in Palestine. Combatting non-communicable diseases, mothers' health and boosting the nursing and midwifery services in the Arab World will also be high on the meeting's agenda.
